Exciting News - The next Youth Commonwealth Games is scheduled to take place in July 2021. At present the location is yet to be confirmed, however JCAYA graduate Rhys Pilley rode for Jersey at the 2017 Games which were held in the Bahamas!
To help prepare our riders for the next event, we are delighted to launch the Youth Commonwealth Games Cycling Pathway. The Pathway will commence on 15th October 2018 and the paper and application form detail the expectations and commitments of being part of.
Eligible applications for inclusion onto the Pathway will be for youths born in the years 2003 and 2004 and is open to both male and female athletes (these ages are set by the Commonwealth Games Association). Historically the Youth Commonwealth Games has only had the discipline of road cycling on the sports program, however, presently both mountain biking and road cycling are included in the Pathway.
If you would like to apply, or if you have any questions, please contact our Secretary, Jo Bridson (contact details are on the form)
